Our purpose is to act as a technology gateway to translate the creative endeavours of the author into the correct digital format for existing major distribution channels. As we don't sell books directly, this website provides links to where the books may be obtained.

 

Waterlord Digital Publishing

The principal products Waterlord Publishing will deliver are:

Ebooks - or in plain English, books in digital form ready for uploading to the major digital publishers, such as Amazon.

Paper books - prepared in digital form ready for printing and distribution by Lulu using Print-On-Demand technology. Print-On-Demand delivers relative cheap books in small numbers, without the need for a large print run to achieve economies of scale. All the typesetting is done prior to submission to Lulu.

We have successfully published ebooks and a real book, at first ‘by hand’. Following this, we have undertaken extensive research upon the whole subject and are confident that this process can be substantially automated. This takes advantage of many year’s experience, programming and using computers. The benefits of doing this are that, for novels with simple layouts, we can substantially reduce the time it takes to create a consistent high quality product (initially targetted at the English language). This in turn enables us to deliver excellent service at low cost.

This is a return to the publishing strategies which were familiar to Jane Austen and Charles Dickens in their day.
